During COVID, I developed a daily drinking habit—typically two drinks after work each day. It felt unsustainable and I could see it leading to darker places, so after a big July 4th celebration, I decided to quit completely.

The change was immediate and positive. My energy levels improved, my physical health felt better, and I started to see the benefits of sobriety. But temptation still creeps in sometimes, and I’ve found that visualizing the benefits helps me stay committed to this healthier lifestyle.

I built a quick app to help with this visualization, and I’m sharing it in the hopes it might help others on their own journey to quit drinking.

I find it particularly useful to use this money that I would typically spend on alcohol to treat myself to other products that I enjoy.
