Evan Marsland
Open to fully remote software engineering roles as an individual contributor, and to small, fixed-scope consulting projects.
I’m a software engineer in the SF Bay Area with 10 years of experience, including 7 years at Google. For my last 4 years there I worked on AI: production systems built on LLMs, and tooling that helps engineering teams move faster with AI. Before Google, I worked on payments at Square and spent two years at startups doing a bit of everything.
I do my best work with clear ownership, written communication and long stretches of focused time. These days I’m building small AI-powered products on the side. When I’m away from the computer, I’m usually mountain biking or skiing.
